LCSW-S stands for licensed clinical social worker, supervisor. This means that in addition to receiving a master’s in social work, I completed 2000 hours of supervised clinical work to be able to do my own clinical work independently. “Clinical” work means I provide therapeutic services directly to clients. The “s” means I have received training and am certified to supervise other people working toward their social work certifications. LCDC stands for licensed chemical dependency counselor, which means I received extra training and certification in substance misuse and treatment to ensure I can support this population in the ways it specifically needs. CGP stands for certified group psychotherapist, which means I have developed myself as a competent group facilitator by attending trainings on how to manage the dynamics that occur within a group particularly, as it tends to be different than one-on-one therapy.

I am not an in-network provider for any insurance panels. I can provide the necessary documentation to file for your out-of-network benefits. If you're seeking online therapy, you will also need to check with your insurance company to see if they cover online services.

I work in-office on Tuesdays from 9AM-3PM. I also see people through a secure online videoconferencing platform Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9AM-3PM.
-
The office address is 675 Seminole Ave, Suite T-05, Atlanta, GA 30307.

I utilize a secure videoconferencing platform called SimplePractice. You will receive a link for the session via email. This link brings you straight to my virtual waiting room. You will wait in the virtual waiting room until the start of our session at which time I will link us. No need to download any software.

I prefer to connect with someone for a few minutes over the phone to ensure I am the appropriate person to help with whatever is happening. If we both feel comfortable with proceeding, we will set a time for our initial appointment. Prior to our initial session, I will then send a link through email to a secure online client portal where you can complete all the intake paperwork, client services agreement, and consent forms.
